Why are secondary beams generally designed to be articulated with primary beams?

If the secondary beam and the main beam just connected, the main beam at the same location on both sides of the secondary beam with the same load is okay, there is no secondary beam end moment for the main beam out-of-plane torsion, but also calculate the torsion, involving torsional stiffness, fan moment of inertia, and so on.In addition to just connect to increase the construction workload, the site welding workload greatly increased. The loss is not worth the gain, it is generally not necessary to make the secondary beam into a rigid connection.
